# Overview

airport-software Online Services offers digital communication with [participating airports](https://my.airport.software/POR/login/airports.aspx). The following services are currently available:

* <sup><mark style="color:$warning;">**NEW**<mark style="color:$warning;"></sup> Payments of fees and charges at participating airports.
* Self-report flights (departure/arrival report) outside of regular operating hours.
* Pre-announce flights from/to countries that are not members of the Schengen area (clearance by border police).
* Pre-announce flights from/to countries that are not members of the European Union (clearance by customs).
* Pre-announce flights outside regular opening hours of an airport (early/late arrivals/departures).
* Pre-announce flights that require prior permission of the airport (PPR).

Online Services can be used as a guest (without creating an account) or as a registered user. Please note that guests cannot request all kinds of services as selected airports require a verified email as well as billing address in order to process a request. It is recommended to create an account, when using Online Services on a regular basis. This allows you to create templates and profiles for an efficient workflow and to better keep track of past, current and future requests.
